Order of The British Empire Award

Mr Jag Mohan Puri, Director, The Combine Company was award ed the Order of The British Empire on Wednesday 27 September 2006 for his Contribution to furthering UK-Indian relations in education and commerce.

On 28th Sept 2006: UK Top Newspaper reported : London, Three distinguished Indians recognized for the highest award given by United Kingdom to foreigners to strengthen the bonds between their countries with UK.

BRITISH HIGH COMMISSIONER CONFERED OBE HONOUR TO DISTINGUISHED INDIVIDUALS

The British High Commissioner to India, Sir Michael Arthur, conferred the Order of the British Empire (OBE) honour to the following individuals in a function at his residence: Speaking on the occasion, Sir Michael Arthur said :

"We are greatly honoured to confer the Order of the British Empire (OBE) award on Ms Supriya Banerji, Mr Jag Mohan Puri and Mr Roshan Seth. Their outstanding contribution in cementing UK-India relations through diverse fields like business, education, theatre, film and television is a fine example to us all. We congratulate them on being awarded this honour."
