to furthering UK-Indian relations in education
and commerce.

BRITISH HIGH COMMISSIONER CONFERED OBE HONOUR
TO DISTINGUISHED INDIVIDUALS
The British High Commissioner to India,
Sir Michael Arthur, conferred the Order
of the British Empire (OBE) honour to the
following individuals in a function at his
residence: Speaking on the occasion, Sir
Michael Arthur said :
"We are greatly honoured to confer
the Order of the British Empire (OBE) award
on Ms Supriya Banerji, Mr Jag Mohan Puri
and Mr Roshan Seth. Their outstanding contribution
in cementing UK-India relations through
diverse fields like business, education,
theatre, film and television is a fine example
to us all. We congratulate them on being
awarded this honour."
